TRU Championship Weekend Details – April 23 & 24

TRU Semifinal: Arrows v. Fort Hood Old Skool
In a first-ever Championship Weekend appearance as a Club, the Arrows will travel to Austin for the Red River Rugby Conference Semifinal Match on Saturday, April 23. They face Fort Hood in the Semifinal Match on Saturday. The winner will face the other Semifinal winner (Blacks v. Bay Area) in the Red River Rugby Conference Final the next day - Sunday, April 24.

The TRU appreciates team and spectator flexibility in match times/locations in order to put on a successful championship weekend.
Special Recognition
On Saturday, 4 Arrows will reach big cap milestones in Mike Mumaugh (35), Eric Co and Matt Abrameit (30), and Adam Smyth (20).
In rugby culture, players earn their 'Cap' when they make a competitive match appearance. When an Arrow earns their first Cap, they also receive their permanent Arrows Number. For each Cup/League Match an Arrow plays, he will earn a Cap!

Past This Weekend
The Red River Rugby Conference Champion will advance to the Gulf Coast Super Regional (National) Round of 8 on Saturday, May 7 at AVEVA Stadium (in HOUSTON!) against the winner of the Deep South rugby competition.
The Super Regional Winner will advance to the National Final 4, played on May 21 - 22.
A Loss in any match going forward will end our season.
