The 2020-2021 Season is here

COVID-Prevention plan in place; bring on Season 5!

Welcome Back Players

Arrows RFC is entering its 5th season of competition and begin rugby training on Tuesday, October 13, from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. We regularly train Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at the Northside Columbus Club (map) and we play our matches on Saturdays at Our Savior Lutheran (map). All men ages 18+ are welcome to come to training; whether you are a returning player, a new player, or someone who just want to give the sport a shot.

Coming out of the pandemic, we are limbering up for a flexible schedule. After the long club rugby hiatus, the Texas Rugby Union have released their preliminary schedule, which anticipates a cup season start in January 2021. This is contingent on progression to Return-to-Play Stage 5.

Return to Activity

Following the recently established Arrows Return-to-Activity Protocol, we will initially focus on honing our basic skills and building our fitness as a team in Stage 3, beginning on Tuesday, October 13.

We anticipate shifting gears into Stage 4 and hosting our inaugural Black & Gold Intrasquad Match, contingently scheduled for Saturday, November 21. This will serve as a wonderful community opportunity where players novice and veteran can help grow in the game together, early in the season.

Matches against other clubs are contingent on our progression into Stage 5. But at that point, we should be well-prepared to simply shift gears once more into full-on competition.

Arrows RFC is a Catholic community with the purpose of forming men in Christian virtue through competitive Rugby.

Almost half of the club's competitive players had never played rugby in their lives before joining the Arrows - and the numbers grow each season.
