Our first season is in the books!

(see FAQs further below)

Arrows Youth Rugby has finished its first successful season of rugby.  Regular season trainings and tournaments are done for now, but we will have activities this summer, including our non-contact multi-week skills camp and a new contact ruck/tackle clinic later in the summer.  Keep an eye here and on social media for updates.

Regular season play will ramp back up in late 2026, and we will again offer boys' sides playing contact rugby in the U14, U12, and U10 age divisions this year, along with touch rugby competition for U8.  (Age bands are based upon age at September 1.  Arrows Youth Rugby is available to Boys that are 6 to 13 years old as of September 1, 2026.)

WE WILL HAVE YOU MORE INFORMATION SOON!

SOME FURTHER INFORMATION/FAQs:

  1. When are practices?
Practices/trainings will be every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm from December until early April (except for Spring Break weeks).
  2. What equipment is needed?
Players will need a mouthguard and cleats, and for practices, pocketless athletics shorts and a shirt.  You may choose for your player to wear a scrum cap if they wish.
  3. I've seen emails and social media, but how does the Club communicate?
Once players are registered with the Club, they will be invited to our TeamSnap groups and most communication, scheduling, etc., is done using the convenient TeamSnap app.
  4. What does it cost?
USA Rugby registration is $79.00.  Club Dues for the season are $200 for all ages except U8 Touch, which is $150.  For their dues, players will receive game shorts and socks and a warmup/training top.  Jerseys are kept by the Club and provided at matches.  There are not additional match or tournament fees.
  5. When are matches/games?
There are several one-day, Saturday tournaments which we can choose to attend at which teams will play 1-3 matches.  These are listed below on the Tournament Schedule.  We will also arrange for some one-off friendly matches as scheduling permits.  All are between February and early April.
  6. What if we can't always be there for everything?
That is fine.  We expect boys at this age are involved in several things.  We want a commitment to participation, but that does not mean there are never conflicts and 100% attendance is expected.  Communicate with the coaching staff, but we want your boy to participate and learn this great game.
