Weekend Rugby Recap: Arrows Take on BARC
This past weekend, The Arrows traveled to take on Bay Area Rugby Club in a full day of rugby action, featuring both our Division 3 side and an important first run-out for our Division 4 squad.
Division 3 Match Recap
The Arrows Division 3 squad faced a strong and well-organized Bay Area side, falling 40–17 in a hard-fought contest. Despite the final scoreline, the Arrows showed resilience and flashes of quality throughout the match, finding space out wide and converting opportunities into points. The match provided valuable lessons as the squad continues to build chemistry and sharpen execution against tough competition.
Division 4 Scrimmage – Building for the Future
The weekend also marked the first run-out of the Arrows’ Division 4 squad in a scrimmage-style match. This game was all about development, giving new members and developing players meaningful on-the-field experience in a live rugby environment. The squad embraced the opportunity, showing strong effort, communication, and enthusiasm as they put training into practice.
Season Outlook
With this result, the Arrows sit at 2–1 overall on the season, a strong position as the club heads into the holiday break. The remaining league matches will resume in January 2026, giving the squads time to recover, train, and prepare for the challenges ahead.
Looking Ahead
While the Division 3 result didn’t go our way, the weekend was an important step forward for the club as a whole. With valuable minutes gained across both squads, the Arrows will take the lessons learned and continue building toward stronger performances in the weeks ahead.
Thank you to Bay Area Rugby Club for hosting and to everyone who traveled and supported the Arrows. We’re back to work and focused on the next challenge.
Go Arrows!
